Paddling quietly along the creek on a beutiful day still day day we spot a Little Egret in the branch on one of the many large trees that line Talledudgera creek. The trees protect the banks of the creek and provide habitat to the many different types of native fauna that live in the area.
Further along the creek we spot a Azure Kingfisher
Many of the birds that can seen along the creek will go about their business allowing you to photograph or simply enjoy watching them if you remain relatively quiet.

As you Come around one of the bends of Tallebudgera Creek as it meanders to the ocean you should look in all directions incuding upwards as it is not unusual to see one of the resident Brahminy Kites searching for a dinner of fish.
This Brahminy Kite was having an airial battle with a crow over airspace ownership.
A fisherman relaxing on the glistening waters of Talledugera creek, the waters contain many fish and the Mangove trees provide shelter and shade.
No problems to trawl a line behind you as you quietly paddle along the creek taking in the beauty of the natural environment.
When there is a break in the trees make sure you look around for some of the spectacular views of the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Another of the local Brahmany Kites that live along the banks of Talledudgera creek. As you pass the parklands you may notice the artificial nest that has replaced a fallen tree. These nests are used year after year to raise new chicks.
